Famous Software specializes in the development, support, and the sale of fully integrated accounting and business management software applications for the produce industry. We are revolutionizing information management in the fresh food supply chain. We use a team approach to software development and customer success. The Professional Services Team interacts directly with our customers and provides first point of contact for all customer onboarding and support inquiries.

This position enables you to use your service and technical skills to help our customers get the most from their investment in our software. Our Professional Services team is responsible for all software implementations and incoming customer support inquiries. After you receive intensive product training from our Famous Academy, you will use your strong verbal and presentation skills to provide telephone, email, and online assistance utilizing LogMeIn and state-of-the-art Customer Relationship Management tools. Consulting, stand-up training, and travel opportunities will become available as you gain experience. A strong understanding of basic accounting concepts is required for this position.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Gain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Famous Software products
  • Continually learn about and educate customers on new product lines and software releases
  • Perform training duties for all new software implementations and software add-ons, both in person at customer locations and via Microsoft Teams meetings
  • Serve as a Customer Support Representative on both email and phone
  • Maintain, document and use confidential customer information in a CRM system
  • Use Smartsheet and Lucidchart to develop and document project plans and workflows
  • Provide prompt follow up and ensure timely resolution to all customer inquiries
  • Develop business solutions and deliver messages to effectively resolve customer inquiries
  • Provide software and process consulting services commensurate with your skill level

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or experience in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or Management
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, both written and verbal
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, team environment where no two days are the same
  • Strong ability to read and interpret business workflow documents
  • Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Effective and efficient problem solving
  • Strong analytic skills that allow the individual to clearly communicate customer’s issues and provide accurate resolutions
  • Strong motivation and time management skills
  • Passion for new technologies and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel domestically and into Canadian markets
  • Valid Drivers License and Passport for Canadian travel

Relocation and Telecommuting

At this time, Famous Software does not offer relocation packages. Additionally, telecommuting is not an option for this position.
